Just come by our Reese RoundTable event this coming Tuesday, September 23, at 12:00 noon, at the Capitol Hill Club, 300 1st St SE, Washington, DC 20003. You'll meet two of the top advisors to John McCain and Barack Obama.
The RoundTable is an annual event named in honor of our good friend and tireless Faith and Action supporter, Bernie Reese, an attorney of more than 50 years. The purpose of the two-hour panel-like program is to discuss and call for action on the critical issues of the day.
This year's forum is entitled "Candidates' Forum: How Does the Declaration of Independence Guide Your Views of Government?" We'll talk to two experts about the views of the two presidential candidates on those "unalienable rights" endowed to us by our "Creator."
Answering that question will be Robert "Bob" Heckman, long-time personal friend and now senior advisor to John McCain and Evan La Velle, senior advisor-religious affairs to Barack Obama.
